What is CPC Training
CPC is the abbreviation for ‘Certificate of Professional Competence’ and is required for any individual to drive large vehicles professionally. Before driving lorries, coaches or buses commercially, drivers must first undergo 35 hours of CPC training to obtain their Driver CPC qualification.

Driver CPC lasts for 5 years and regardless of the level of experience of the driver, they must again undergo CPC training before their Driver CPC expires in order to continue driving professionally. Drivers found to be operating a large vehicle without CPC can face large fines.
