Container storage and haulage play a crucial role in the logistics industry as they enable the transportation and safekeeping of goods. Containers provide a secure and standardised method of shipping products, allowing for efficient loading and unloading, and minimising the risk of damage. In order for the safe movement and storage of containers, specialist container lifting is essential.
With many decades of container haulage experience, Hayward Transport can be relied upon to always find the best transportation and storage solutions to meet your container needs. Container haulage requires expert care, so it’s important to find a reliable carrier partner to ensure that your containers make it from A to B as smoothly as possible.
Our new Hayward Transport North West Transport and Container Base Depot provides long and short-term off-dock container storage space for 600+ TEU containers and bespoke lifting solutions. Located in Knowsley, our container haulage depot is just a few miles away from the Royal Seaforth Container Terminal and the North West Lift-on/Lift-off cargo ships.
We have enjoyed a long association with Walsall FC which continues to this day. As the road haulage partner to the Saddlers, we currently occupy the View Box at the Banks’s Stadium, offering an excellent view of all the matchday action, so as the people’s haulier, we wanted to share this experience with members of our local community.
Known and respected as “The People’s Haulier”, not only do we go above and beyond to find solutions to any haulage problem experienced by our customers, we are also committed to serving and supporting our local community. Having learned about the work of the Friendship Cafe Walsall CIC, we are proud to support their cause.
With our Walsall depot as head office, we are in the centre of the UK motorway network. Whilst this ensures that our haulage fleet has great access to all corners of the country, our location is not without its challenges!
